Sometimes projects start moving in the wrong direction in the early stages of the project (conceptual design, pre-FEED, FEED) which will bring a major impact on the final result of the project execution in terms of cost, schedule, safety, and operability. This might be due to many reasons from unclear scope, unrealistic expectations, inadequate review and control, or lack of competence and poor experience of the involved project owner staff and Engineering Services contractor personnel.<\/p>\n
